DEGREE COURSE

Medicine: Medical Degree in English (360 CFU, compulsory attendance). Graduates receive the title of "Doctor of General Medicine (MD)". Duration: 6 years. Starting date: beginning of October.

This agreement allows graduates in Medicine at MediCampus Europeo to also obtain a degree awarded by Trakia University.

Trakia University is a Bulgarian state university and one of the most famous universities in Bulgaria. It was founded in 1995 and currently hosts around 9,000 students and has 9 faculties, 43 bachelor's, 71 master's and 90 doctoral programs. Trakia University is accredited by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency under the Bulgarian Council of Ministers.

Malta is an archipelago located south of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea and is a very popular student destination with over 40 academic institutions present on the island. With its temperate climate all year round, picturesque landscapes, warm seas and welcoming and friendly people, Malta is a perfect place to study. The island offers a safe environment for both locals and visitors, its 400,000 inhabitants are bilingual and one of the largest communities of foreigners residing on the island is the Italian one. According to the Eurobarometer in fact 66% of the Maltese population speaks Italian and 88% speaks English. The Maltese archipelago was a British colony until 1974 and the influence of the British Empire led the country to establish English as one of its official languages. Malta is currently one of the most important places to study English and pursue a higher education program.

Malta has been part of the EU since 1 May 2004 and its currency is the Euro. The general cost of living on the islands is low compared to other European countries.

The MCE Campus, with a total area of 3,500 m2 is located in the quiet town of Pembroke, very close to the sea and a 5-minute walk from the famous town of St. Julians, one of the most attractive educational centres in Malta.

Malta International Airport, residential areas and major hotels are all within a thirty minute drive. Malta is very well connected to most European capitals. The quickest way to reach Malta is by plane, with direct low-cost flights departing daily from many airports around the world. Air Malta, the national airline, operates to and from all major airports in Europe. Several other airlines, including Ryanair, EasyJet and Lufthansa also serve Malta International Airport.

ADMISSION PROCESS

In order to be admitted to the Faculty of Medicine of the MediCampus Europeo - MCE, candidates are required to take a written admission test. The exam consists of a written multiple-choice test on the subjects of biology and chemistry. Through our preparation course we will allow you to quickly acquire the necessary training to pass this entrance test.
