01 / Overview
Experience anatomy beyond the textbook
The Medicor Tutor Summer School – Cadaver Dissection Course is an intensive 5-day hands-on anatomy programme held either at Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia, or at MediCampus Europeo in Malta, depending on the scheduled edition.
Designed for medical students and healthcare professionals, the course combines anatomical theory with direct dissection practice, helping participants understand human anatomy through guided, practical experience.
02 / Programme
What the Cadaver Dissection Summer School is
The programme focuses on the anatomy of the upper and lower body through structured cadaver dissection activities.
Participants do not simply observe. They work directly at the dissection table in small groups, supported by Faculty doctors, tutors and professionals throughout the programme.
Each group has access to its own cadaver, provided by the host institution: Masaryk University in Brno or MediCampus Europeo in Malta.
Depending on the edition, the Summer School may also include suturing, medical simulation and practical workshops.
03 / Why
Why choose a hands-on anatomy course
A cadaver dissection course allows students to move beyond two-dimensional anatomy and explore the real relationships between muscles, organs, vessels, nerves and surrounding structures.
The experience can help participants strengthen:
- anatomical knowledge;
- three-dimensional understanding of the human body;
- confidence in the dissection room;
- practical observation skills;
- ability to connect theory with clinical anatomy.
For medical and healthcare students, this type of intensive practical training can be a valuable complement to traditional university anatomy teaching.
