Overview
MediCampus Europeo (MCE) is a medical school based in Floriana, a few minutes from Valletta. Malta offers an international environment, uses the euro and has English as an official language.
The programme is designed for students who want to study Medicine abroad in Europe and combines theoretical learning with practical training, modern laboratories and clinical exposure.

The Medicine programme at MediCampus Europeo is designed for international students and taught entirely in English, with mandatory attendance. Over 6 years, it takes you step by step towards the MD (Doctor of General Medicine) degree. Lessons begin in early October, so you can organise your documents, travel and arrival in Malta well in advance.
The curriculum combines scientific foundations, medical subjects and practical experience. Students begin developing practical skills in laboratories from the first year and progress to clinical training and clerkships during the programme.
The study plan includes subjects such as Medical Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Histology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and other clinical disciplines.

Location

Studying Medicine in Malta means living in a Mediterranean, international environment. Malta is part of the European Union, uses the euro and has English as an official language, which makes it easier to settle into an international university programme.
The MCE campus is in Floriana, about 800 metres from Valletta, in a convenient, central area with institutions, services and infrastructure close at hand. Students live and study in a Mediterranean EU country with direct connections to major European cities. The campus provides teaching spaces, laboratories and study areas designed for modern medical education.

Accreditation

MediCampus Europeo and its study programmes are accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA). The institution licence shown by MCE is MFHEA No. 2024-020.
The Medicine programme is presented as compliant with European standards and follows the European credit framework (ECTS/Bologna). It is delivered in collaboration with Trakia State University, a Bulgarian state university and the degree-awarding institution. Recognition and professional registration must always be checked for the country in which a graduate intends to practise.

Yes. The 6-year programme (360 ECTS) is taught entirely in English, with mandatory attendance, and lessons begin in early October.
The published annual fee is €14,500 when paid in a single instalment or €15,500 when paid in two semester instalments. A one-off €500 enrolment fee applies in the first year.
The process includes an online application, an online MCE Admission Assessment with a motivation interview, a Conditional Offer, a Final Academic Validation in English, Biology and Chemistry (native English speakers are exempt from the English part) and final enrolment. The next published session is on 19 September 2026, online.
MCE states that the programme is accredited by MFHEA and that the degree is issued by Trakia State University. Country-specific recognition and professional registration requirements must be verified with the competent authority where the graduate plans to practise.
