Overview
The Medical University of Sofia is one of Bulgaria’s public medical universities and the oldest institution for higher medical education in the country. It was founded in 1917 as the Faculty of Medicine of Sofia University, by decree of Tsar Ferdinand, and has since become a national and international point of reference for medical and healthcare education.
Since its foundation, more than 60,000 specialists have graduated from the university, which is today considered one of the strongest medical institutions in Bulgaria.

Degree programmes
The Medicine programme follows the Problem-Based Learning approach. This teaching method focuses on solving real health problems, which makes the degree much more dynamic and realistic.
Graduates receive the title of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Students train in modern, fully equipped facilities within the faculty.

As an official partner of the Medical University of Sofia, Medicor Tutor can organise the Medicine admission test in person or online, depending on the sessions scheduled. The test is a written multiple-choice exam in English with 80 questions: 40 in Biology and 40 in Chemistry.
Pharmacy applicants take an online written test with 80 questions (40 Chemistry and 40 Biology), while Nursing applicants take an online written test and an online interview.
