City and student life

Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a city with a strong cultural and historical identity. It is known for hosting the 1984 Winter Olympics and for its distinctive position between Central European and Mediterranean influences.
Sarajevo can be reached by flights and international connections, which makes it easier for students to organise their move. The Faculty of Medicine itself is in Foča, a more compact study setting in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
